Jesus is at the heart of all that we are and do together at Corpus Christi.

Corpus Christi School is a Catholic Primary school, where the teaching and practice of the Catholic faith lies at the heart of school life and our curriculum. From it, springs our school’s ethos, which can be seen in the positive relationships, concern for equality of opportunity and inclusive approaches and our support and respect for every child as a unique gift from God. We aim to foster a spirit of true Christianity throughout the school in the children’s behaviour towards each other, their care of the environment and in the use of their gifts and talents.

The school's mission is very much centred on the example of Christ and can be seen and experienced  by all who are part of the school community and those who visit us.  We encourage all in the school to learn to be the best they can be, whether this is in their academic work, sporting or artistic skills or being a good friend.  All achievement is celebrated.

We believe coming together in prayer, particularly in times of joy and sadness, strengthens our sense of community and brings us together for a common purpose.  The school benefits from sharing the site with the Parish Church of Corpus Christi which reinforces the partnership of Parish -Home - School in supporting children in their faith development and helping them to grow into the best person they can be.
